What does a career in automotive service look like?
Leverage your enthusiasm and people skills to help customers find the perfect new or used vehicle. Directly interact with members of your community in-store and online to help communicate, inspire trust, and answer customer questions. A good auto service person will:
- Tracking incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership using computer software for inventory tracking.
- Handling the counter, collecting payments, and solving customer questions and concerns.
- For drivers, transporting parts to different dealerships or picking up parts when necessary.
- Locating parts when the dealership is out of stock.
